The reasons for a UCD’s company

We have a mission here in Wenetus: to simplify people’s life using the web. To accomplish this mission, the unique way is to develop user centered design’s solutions. We can give less prestige for our project’s appearance, we can cut extra features, we can even say “no” to our clients if these actions decrease our site’s usability.

We’ll tell ours reasons. Google and other search engines are so sofisticated nowadays that is no more difficult to find a site or service about almost any subject. People type a few words into a search engine and get a list of companies that are competing to solve their problem.

None of these companies will be successful if they impose too many barriers or delays in getting users what they want. People are less and less tolerant of bad design. Our clients can’t loose consumers because their sites are difficult to use.

We’ve studied a lot about this before define Wenetus’ mission. Our conclusion is: user centered design means simple interfaces. Simple and useful interfaces make our clients’ consumers happy, wich means more return on investiment. That’s why our mascot is called ROI, the pig!
