Venetus A is how the most famous manuscript of the Iliad is known, epic poem of Homer dated to the 10th century and considered the founding masterpiece of the western literature. Venetus (pronounced with the stress on the first syllable) comes from latin and it means green.

Such a significative word to people who were primordial in communication and that yet represents a color related to cleanness, confort, efficience and prosperity could not be better to baptize a company like ours.

To give a touch of charm to the trademark and to make its unique character prevail, we made a choice to spell it with W, a very present letter in the world of interactive communication since the creation of World Wide Web.

Coincidentlly, the trademark added three English words which are directly related to our work: “we”, “net” and “us”. Although it has not been on purpose, nothing could be more appropriate to a net communication in which the main stars are us, the users.
